| Check out the great Sprintime action
May 10th Fishing Report With the passing of winters grip the spring bait run is on. Up until this first week in May all my fishing has been on the inside. Highlighting some catches were school reds, a Six lb spanish mackerel. a 22” pompano a couple of cobia, along with good catches of seatrout. This is my second week with offshore charters. The reef is hot with King Mackerel, Little tunny, and huge Black tip and Lemon Sharks . These babies have a way of showing up out of no where. Fifty- Sixty lb Black-tips jumping and cartwheeling across the surface. The big surprise came last Saturday fishing with Aidan O’Conner of NY. NY. I saw the bite and told Aidan wind tight , then Set. Nothing happened . A second later this sailfish is tail walking across the surface. Although not intirely unheard of a 60 “ sailfish is quite a catch in the shallow Gulf of Mexico. Tarpon are here. I’m looking forward to lots of both inshore and offshore action the next few months. Art Show Schedule
