Snook are very active in this part of the Florida Intercoastal waterway, especially around the Venice area. They like rapidly moving water and feed mostly at night, and are particularly active around the full moon.

These conditions are ideally met in Snook Alley, where it is not uncommon to see the fish stacked one on top of another in the lights. This evening/nighttime charter usually begins around 8pm and lasts through midnight, and can be extended for a nominal fee when the fish are biting hard.
